Ministry of Education Culture Youth and Sport

The main tasks of the Department are to support non government organisations and agencies. It promotes participation of young people in society and develops opportunities where young people can participate in activities which they initiate themselves.

Youth councils

The National Youth Council (KNŻ)

KNZ aims to:

• Promote a cross-sectoral youth policy
• Influence youth policy at a regional and international level
• Increase the participation of young people and youth organisations
• in society as well as the decision-making process
• Promote the exchange of ideas and experiences, mutual understanding
• and equal rights and opportunities amongst young people
